– quite simply one of the nicest Mercedes Benz 500SL’s we have seen in years
– 1986 in Thistle Green with parchment cream leather interior
– Air bag and central temperature gauge
– as with all 500SL’s they were all sold new overseas and brought here on things like the tourist delivery programs.
– showing only 72,000 miles and based on its current condition it seems very genuine to us
– there is not a mark on the paint and the leather interior is in superb condition
– the soft and hard tops are in excellent condition
– head liner is unmarked
– the underneath of this car is immaculate as well – please check out the additional photos taken whilst on the hoist. it is very normal for the exhaust to have some marks but all the underbody is very very good for a car sold new overseas
– alloy wheels are not marked and the tyres are great
– this car has been owned by an enthusiastic collector who was also a member of the NSW Mercedes Benz car club that we sponsor
– previously registered in NSW so very easy to initiate new rego
– we only recently sold a similar car and not quite as good as this condition and was asking similar money
