A gorgeous cat and The Jaguar XKR special edition is the ultimate definition of what it is to be cool.! This stunning 2010 5.0 litre supercharged range topping variant and is known as the “special edition” for a number of reasons. Higher top speed, extra Jag decals stuck to the paintwork and for $272,000 when new you also got a few more creature comforts! 20-inch Kalimnos alloy wheels that are stopped by giant red brake calipers. A gloss finish to the front air grilles and side power vents makes sure you know this is not just a regular XKR. On top of that, a larger rear spoiler, front chin spoiler, plus body-coloured side sills and rear diffuser finish off the exterior. The special edition gains warm charcoal softgrain leather interior trim with cranberry-coloured stitching. Add piano black veneers on the dashboard, 16-way heated and cooled memory seats, jet suede cloth premium headlining and premium carpet to complete the package. This one is finished in Arctic White paint over black leather interior and has the current chrome gear shifter which rises out of the centre console upon start-up denoting it’s a proper 2010 model year. The 6 speed automatic is routed to the rear wheels and the XKR sprints to 100kp/h in around 4.5 seconds. Highlight features include 20 inch alloy wheels, satellite navigation, park distance with reverse camera, power heated seats with memory and so much more. The stereo sounds superb although you won’t be using it because the exhaust note is too nice. The car has excellent history, looks very current and drives like a dream. Designed by the same designer as the Aston Martin DB9 but with Jaguar flair and reliability worlds above other British sports cars, this car makes for an excellent choice and is the crème of the crop in terms of GT cars under 100K and with only 80,100 kms from new.
